Alliance Fund Management, LLC (AFM) is an impact (community development) investor whose core business is focused on providing sustainable community-capital to a qualified mission based §501(c)(3) designated organizations. Our investments are structured as tax exempt bond transactions. Our investments are collateralized by existing, historically stable and performing multifamily (apartment assets). AFM’s model allows qualified §501(c)(3) ‘s to effectively compete on acquisitions against large institutional owners who have ready access to institutional grade capital or lines of credit. AFM's financing removes an important barrier to entry in the affordable multifamily apartment industry by providing qualified §501(c)(3)’s with access to bridge capital at favorable terms that was previously unavailable in the national market. Thus, our capital levels the playing field between §501(c)(3)’s and large cash rich institutions.
