We are building an online community for women to rent their formal and semi-formal wear to each other. There will be an extensive search capability to find products not only based on the product attributes, but also on calendar availability, body shape and review scores. Our goal is to provide a safe space for clothing rentals to take place that will reduce the cost of attending special occasions and also create a market where women can make income from dresses already hanging in their closet. As the sense of community begins to flourish for BBD, there will be sub-sets of groups that develop. These include culturally based and shape based groups. For example, there will be a focus on the petite, plus size and tall groups of women. In addition, attention will be paid to specialty ethnic attire such as Indian wedding wear, Latina life-events and so on. Our mission is to create a community of fashionable women to contribute to a worldwide, limitless closet.
