The site is an all encompassing resource and lifestyle brand for Emergency Preparedness Enthusiasts (AKA 'Preppers") both novice and experienced. We are "the lighter side of prepping" that is a welcome counterpoint to the industry standard of fear based, political based rhetoric and extremism. To prove the concept, we built a facebook page using the url only, and have so far grown to 4,700+ users, with only a landing page built. Based on user feedback, we are currently building out many different features, such as a dating section, a "trading post" where people can barter goods and services, as well as many how to tutorials, current events that are applicable to the community, an online store for goods and services, and of course- silly photos that are crazy viral. The industry is underserved, and we are working hard to build a rapport with the community
