Studies suggest that nearly 50% of children are inadequately vaccinated and this problem is even more prevalent in adults. The process of driving to a vaccination clinic and the insufferable wait times steals hours from working parents while causing children to miss school. A more convenient solution that respects the time of everyone needing a vaccine is desperately needed. VAXI aims to bring convenience to the vaccination process. The platform is an online reminder and scheduling application combined with a delivery service through which trained personnel administer vaccinations at your convenience. Users will register themselves and/or children online and will be sent push notifications or text message reminders when they or their child is due for a vaccination. At the time of the reminder, the user is able to schedule an appointment to have the vaccine delivered and administered at home, office, or a convenient location of choice. The app also supports other convenient features.
